More than 400 supporters attended Pratt's largest annual scholarship benefit, raising an unprecedented $560,000. Since 1999 the Legend Awards have been presented each year to outstanding recipients in the art and design world whose achievements reflect Pratt's values. The gala, hosted by Pratt President Thomas F. Schutte and Board of Trustees Chair Mike Pratt, was held atop 7 World Trade Center.
The event was co-chaired by Pratt Trustees Kurt Andersen and Amy Cappellazzo, and Pratt friend Marjorie Kuhn. Ms. Kuhn's husband, Pratt Trustee James D. Kuhn, delighted supporters with a surprise pledge of $28,000 in honor of his wife. There was another notable donation of $10,000 which came from Buckingham Capital Management Chairman Larry Leeds in honor of Tommy Hilfiger.

Director of Universal Limited Art Editions Bill Goldston introduced Emily Fisher Landau on behalf of Leonard Lauder, who was unable to attend following unexpected minor back surgery. Landau spoke of her keen eye for art and quipped —“You could take me into any gallery with art around the room and I could tell you which was the best. And that was usually the one the artist wasn’t selling.”

Guests included Jo Carole Lauder, philanthropist; Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel, arts advocate and author, and Ambassador Carl Spielvogel; Robert Siegel, principal and founding partner, Gwathmey Siegel and Associates Architects and Pratt alumnus; Devorah Rose, editor-in-chief of Social Life magazine; artists Francesco Clemente, Glenn Ligon, and Edward Mapplethorpe.

The Models International & Kimberly Taylor Private T-Shirt Launch Event on April 22nd. 2010

The Models International & Kimberly Taylor Private T-Shirt Launch Event on April 22nd. 2010

It happened at the Kimberly Taylor boutique at 400 West 14th street, NYC. You can visit the store which is located right across the street from the Apple Store on 14th street and 9th Ave. in Manhattan or get more information and even go shopping through her website: http://kimberlytaylor.com
If you are in market of picking up some very excellent and super comfortable yet stylish T-Shirts then check out what the Kimberly Taylor Flagship Boutique has to offer. Designed by a twenty-five-year-old New York based designer who debuted her eponymous contemporary line in Spring 2009, gathering instant recognition for her signature staple silk basics. Her collection since then is sold by over 100 retailers nationally and worldwide.
With this collection Kimberly Taylor is branching out into knitwear market with a nine-piece line of luxurious tees, tanks and dresses, ranging from $85 - $145.
The boutique was flowing with fabulously dressed people and  few models who were there to display the new line of these wonderful T-shirts. The girls were tall and so were their hair and the look resembled a rock-punk girl from a tear sheet magazine. People were coming in and out of the boutique entire evening and many of them have made purchases to add those essential summer tees into their very important closet. The night was a blast, people were happily mingling with one another and thus the night was a success.

Here is how the evening went:
First the collection is revealed and pictures are taken of the models with the designer with the Make-Up Artist and Hair Stylist and other relevant individuals who contributed to the evening and made it spectacular.                               THE MODELS
